Therapy is a place to be yourself, bring some challenges to work through and be seen. It can be a landing place and a space where you can work through challenges in your life.
Therapy can look like “just talking”. Sometimes it’s talking, oftentimes it’s more than that. I believe healing happens through relationships and this is the basis of my therapeutic stance.
My style is to get to know the folx who I’m privileged to work beside and introduce modalities that work for them. I pull from relational therapies, EMDR, IFS, cognitive therapies that best serve the folx I work with. I also believe that systems of oppression influence our mental health and it is important to talk about how they impact us.
